The end of days

In times of great upheaval and strife, when society stands at the gateway of profound and utter change, the end of days always tend to be imminent. And they say we live in such times. Well, that would explain the multitude of apocalyptic visions (both fictional and scientific) surfacing today. In darker days of old the end of days always meant the end of the old world and the coming of the new. The end was like springtime with it’s promises of pastures of green and meadows of gold. But that was before the enlightenment refined through the industrial processes of modernity blinded us all by it’s perpetual light. Today it all just ends there. Out of variables, continuation is futile, do not compute.

Stupidity rules the modern mind, ok?
